Model Line & Body Style
The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV will continue being offered as a full-size electric pickup across the following trim levels:
- Work Truck
- 3WT
- 4WT
- RST
- LT
- Trail Boss
In May 2024, Chevrolet announced plans to introduce the LT, RST (non First Edition) and Trail Boss trims. LT and RST will arrive in late 2024, while Trail Boss is set to launch in 2025. It’s also possible that LTZ, Premier or High Country trims will also come to market, though these have yet to be officially announced or confirmed by Chevy.
The Crew Cab Short Bed configuration (CT35843) will remain the only configuration for the 2025 Silverado EV.
Production
Production of the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV takes place at the GM Factory Zero Plant in Detroit, Michigan. Production will begin in August 2024 and is expected to end roughly a year later.

The 2025 Silverado EV will continue being able to tow a minimum of 10,000 pounds on to a maximum of 12,500 pounds, depending on trim level.

Seating
The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV continues to be offered in a single seating configuration that features two front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the rear (seating three), resulting a 2-3 setup.
Beyond 2025
We expect the current, first-generation Chevrolet Silverado EV to remain in production at least through the 2030 model year. A mid-cycle refresh will likely arrive for the 2028 model year.
