Chevrolet Silverado HD Trail Boss
Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss models are off-road-oriented variants that slot above and build on the Z71 sub-brand.
While the performance-enhanced pickups arrived on light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500 models for the 2019 model year, Silverado HD Trail Boss models are not currently available and have yet to be confirmed.
That said, a recent exclusive report by GM Authority explains that such models are currently under consideration.

Overview
Similar to the light-duty Silverado Trail Boss models and GMC Sierra HD AT4, the anticipated Silverado HD Trail Boss models are expected to be equipped with off-road suspension, skid plates, all-terrain tires, red front recovery hooks, and an electronic two-speed AutoTrac transfer case. To clarify, heavy-duty GM pickup truck models do not receive lift kits when equipped with off-road components.
According to sources familiar with the matter, General Motors is now considering bringing a new Chevy Silverado HD Trail Boss model to market. If the model gets the green light, it could arrive with the debut of the refreshed Chevy Silverado HD, set for a launch with the 2023 model year, one year after the model refresh of the light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500 for the 2022 model year.
