The 2025 Silverado 2500 HD continues to ride on a variant of the GM T1 platform modified for heavy duty pickup trucks. Otherwise known as GMT-T1 or T1XX, the architecture is designed for pickup trucks and body-on-frame SUVs.

Beyond 2025
We expect the fourth-generation Silverado 2500 HD to remain in production through the 2027 model year, at which point it will be overhauled for a new generation.
