The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 receives a variety of small changes for the sixth model year of the full-size, half-ton truck’s fourth generation.
These changes follow the 2019 Silverado 1500, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign) and launched the fourth-gen model, followed by a mid-cycle refresh for the 2022.5 Silverado 1500, along with small changes to the 2023 Silverado 1500.

- Wireless phone projection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (PPW) now standard on WT
- For the 2023 model year, this feature was an option on WT
- OnStar (UE1) now standard on WT
- For the 2023 model year, this feature was an option on WT
Mechanical
- Addition of 3.0L LZ0 I-6 turbo-diesel Duramax engine for ZR2 trim
- For the 2023 model year, the LZ0 engine was not available on ZR2
- With this change, the LZ0 engine is available on all Silverado 1500 trims except for Work Truck and Custom
- Addition of Active Exhaust (NPP) for models equipped with 6.2L L87 V-8 gasoline engine
Driver Assist Technology
- Adaptive Cruise Control (KSG) is now standard on High Country
- For the 2023 model year, Adaptive Cruise Control was optional on High Country as part of the Technology Package
