2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the sixth model year of the fourth-generation pickup truck, ushering in the Silverado ZR2 to the lineup for which it will slot between the LT Trail Boss and LTZ trim levels.
These changes follow the 2022 Silverado 1500, which received a mid-cycle refresh, followed by minor changes to the 2023 Silverado 1500.

Production
Production of the 2024 Silverado 1500 started on July 17th 2023 and ended in August, 2024. The Silverado is produced at the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana, the GM Oshawa plant in Canada, and the GM Silao plant in Mexico.
Platform
Like all fourth-generation Silverados, the 2024 Silverado Light Duty rides on the GM T1 platform. Otherwise known as GMT-T1 or T1XX, the architecture is designed for pickup trucks and body-on-frame SUVs.

Seating
The 2024 Silverado is offered in two seating configurations, seating either five or six passengers.
- Five-passenger configuration: this setup features bucket seats in the front row (providing seating for two), along with a 60/40 bench seat in the second row (seating three), resulting in a 2-3 configuration
- Included on and only available on WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, and LT Trail Boss.
- Six-passenger configuration (3-3): this setup features a front 40/20/40 split bench seat in the front row (providing seating for three), along with a 60/40 bench seat in the second row (seating three), resulting in a 3-3 configuration
- Included on ZR2, LTZ, and High Country. Available on LT, RST, and LT Trail Boss.
Beyond 2024
We expect the fourth-generation Silverado 1500 to remain in production through the 2026 model year.
An all-new, next-generation Chevy Silverado will most likely launch for the 2026 or 2027 model years.
