2019 Silverado 1500Â Transmissions
The 2019 Silverado 1500 is offered with at least three transmissions:
- 6-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission mated to 4.3L V-6 LV3 EcoTec3 Gen1 naturally-aspirated gasoline engine with Active Fuel Management (RPO code TBA)
- 8-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission (MQE) mated to:
- 2.7L I-4 LB3 turbo-charged gasoline engine with Active Fuel Management (new for 2019)
- 5.3L V-8 L83 EcoTec3 Gen1 naturally-aspirated gasoline engine with Active Fuel Management
- 5.3L V-8 L84 EcoTec3 Gen2 naturally-aspirated gasoline engine with Dynamic Fuel Management (new for 2019)
- 10-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission (MQB) mated to:
- 6.2L V-8 L87 EcoTec3 Gen2 naturally-aspirated gasoline engine with Dynamic Fuel Management (new for 2019)
- 3.0L Duramax I-6 LM2 turbo-diesel engine  (new for 2019)

- 6-speed Hydra-Matic automatic heavy-duty electronically-controlled transmission (MYD) with overdrive and tow/haul mode, Cruise Grade Braking and Powertrain Grade Braking mated with:
- 6.0L V-8 L96 Vortec gasoline engine
- 6.0L V-8 LC8 Vortec gaseous (LPG/CNG) engine
- 6-speed Allison 1000 automatic electronically controlled transmission with overdrive, electronic engine grade braking and tow/haul mode mated with 6.6L V-8 L5P Duramax turbo-diesel engine

2019 Silverado Medium Duty 4500HD, 5500HD, 6500HDÂ Transmissions
The 2019 Silverado Medium Duty models, consisting of the Silverado 4500HD, Silverado 5500HD and Silverado 6500HD, offer a choice of 12 6-speed transmissions, depending on the model, weight, and GVWR. All transmissions are mated to the 6.6L Duramax V-8 L5D turbo-diesel engine.
