The 2024 Chevrolet Express Cargo receives a variety of small changes for the 28th model year of the van’s first generation.
These changes follow the 2023 Express, which also received minor changes.

- G2500 Regular Wheelbase RWD (CG23405)
- G2500 Extended Wheelbase RWD (CG23705)
- G3500 Regular Wheelbase RWD (CG33405)
- G3500 Extended Wheelbase RWD (CG33705)

Mechanical
- Replacement of two transmission options:
- 6-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission (MYD) is replaced with 8-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission (N8X)
- For the 2023 model year, the 6-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission (MYD) was an available option on all Express Cargo models.
- 8-speed automatic transmission (M5U) is replaced with 8-speed automatic transmission (MTH)
- For the 2023 model year, the 8-speed automatic transmission (M5U) was standard on all Express Cargo models.
- 6-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission (MYD) is replaced with 8-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission (N8X)
