The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette represents the seventh model year of the eighth-generation Corvette (Corvette C8), for which the Stingray, E-Ray, Z06 and ZR1 are expected to receive several key updates, while the C8 ZR1 Zora variant will join the lineup.
This follows the 2020 Corvette, which represented the launch of the Corvette C8 Stingray, followed by minor changes for the 2021 Corvette and 2022 Corvette. The 2023 Corvette saw the introduction of the C8 Z06 plus minor changes for the C8 Stingray, while the 2024 Corvette saw launched the C8 E-Ray in conjunction with minor changes to the Stingray and Z06, and the 2025 Corvette introduced the C8 ZR1.

Changes, Updates, New Features
We expect 2026 Chevrolet Corvette models that carry over from the 2025 model year (Stingray, Z06, E-Ray, ZR1) to receive the following updates:
- Updated interior
- 2026 Corvette interior spy shots captured in early March suggest this to be the case
- New colors and appearance packages
In addition, the C8 Zora – which could also be called ZR1 Zora, will join the lineup as the last word in Chevrolet high-performance products.
Powertrain
The powertrains of the four carry-over Corvettes go unchanged for the 2026 model year:
- 2025 Corvette Stingray carries over the engine and transmission choices from the 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 model years
- 2025 Corvette Z06 carries over the powertrain from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 models
- 2025 Corvette E-Ray carries over its powertrain from the 2024 and 2025 models
- 2026 Corvette ZR1 caries over the powertrain from 2025 model

- E-Ray output comprised of atmospheric LT2 engine sending power to the rear axle plus the HP1 electrified propulsion system powering the front axle. Individual outputs for LT1 and HP1 are as follows:
- LT2: 495 hp / 369.1 kW @ 6450 rpm and 470 lb-ft / 637.2 Nm @ 5150 rpm of torque
- HP1: 160 hp / 113.3 kW and 125 lb-ft / 169.5 Nm
- Meanwhile, the Zora / ZR1 Zora will join the lineup, where we expect it to mate the twin-turbo 5.5L V8 LT7 driving the rear wheels with a hybrid-electric propulsion system driving the front axle. Power and torque ratings are TBD, but we expect well in excess of 1,000 horsepower.
