The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 represents the third model year of the C8 Z06, for which it receives a few minor changes.

These changes follow the 2023 Corvette Z06, which was the introductory year for the C8 Z06.

Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2025 Corvette Z06 sees a few minor changes, including the deletion of seven exterior colors, the addition of three new exterior colors, the addition of four wheel options, and the addition of one interior colorway.

The 2025 Corvette Z06 carries over the powertrain and transmission from the 2023 and 2024 model years.

Production

Production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky – the only plant that builds the Corvette. Key production dates for the 2025 Corvette Z06 are as follows:

  • Start of production: September 9th, 2024
  • End of production: May 30th, 2025

Platform

Like all Corvette C8 models and variants, the 2025 Corvette Z06 is based on the Y2 platform. Internally, the vehicles carry program codes Y2AC for the Convertible and Y2BC for the Coupe. All Corvette C8 models utilize the GM Global B electric architecture.

Seating

The 2025 C8 Z06 is offered in one seating configuration, seating two passengers in two bucket seats.

We expect that the C8 Corvette Z06 will remain in production for at least thru the 2028 model year. A mid-cycle refresh is expected for the 2026 model year.
