These changes follow the 2020 Corvette Stingray, which was the model’s introductory year, along with small changes for the 2022 Corvette Stingray, 2023 Corvette Stingray and 2024 Corvette Stingray.

Production
Production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky – the only plant that builds the Corvette. Key production dates for the 2025 Corvette Stingray are as follows:
- Start of production: September 9th, 2024
- End of production: May 30th, 2025
Platform
Like all Corvette C8 models and variants, the 2025 Corvette Stingray is based on the Y2 platform. Internally, the vehicles carry program codes Y2AC for the Convertible and Y2BC for the Coupe. All Corvette C8 models utilize the GM Global B electric architecture.

Beyond 2025
