2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 receives a variety of small changes for the second model year of the C8 Corvette Z06.

These changes follow the 2023 Corvette Z06, which was the introductory year for the C8 Z06.

Model Line

  • No changes

Exterior

  • Deletion of three exterior colors:
    • White Pearl Metallic Tricoat (G1W)
    • Caffeine Metallic (G48)
    • Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic (GS7)
  • Addition of three exterior colors:
    • Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV)
    • Cacti Green (GVR)
    • Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat (GXA)
      • Extra-cost color priced at $995
  • Carbon Flash Metallic exterior color (GAR) now available for all models and trims
    • For the 2023 model year, this color required the 70th Anniversary Special Edition package (Y70)
  • Deletion of three racing stripe options:
    • 70th Anniversary Satin Black Metallic Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTK)
    • 70th Anniversary Satin Matrix Gray Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTF)
    • Midnight Gray Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DX0)
  • Addition of wider Full Length Dual Racing Stripes in five new colors:
    • Blue (DPB)
    • Yellow (DPC)
    • Orange (DPG)
    • Red (DPL)
    • Silver (DPT)
  • Addition of one wheel option:
    • Visible carbon fiber with Red stripe wheels sized 20 inches (front) and 21 inches (rear) (STZ)
      • Availability:
        • Optional on all 2024 Corvette Z06 trims
        • Requires carbon ceramic brakes
  • Addition of spoiler extension with clear smoked center bridge and Jake logo as a Genuine Corvette Accessory (LPO, SIG)
    • Requires “regular” rear spoiler (T0E)
  • Addition of visible carbon fiber door intake trim as a Genuine Corvette Accessory (LPO, RYQ)
    • Available across all 2024 Corvette Z06 models and trims
  • Addition of two new engine appearance packages:
    • Coupe Engine Appearance Package (B6P) with carbon fiber trim
      • Availability
        • Available on all coupe models
    • Convertible Engine Appearance Package (ZZ3) with window under tonneau cover and engine cover
      • Availability
        • Available on all convertible models
  • Addition of Tech Bronze Accent Package (PCZ, LPO)
    • Features / content
      • 20 inch front and 21 inch rear Spider design Tech Bronze forged aluminum wheels (5DK)
      • Dark Stealth crossed flags emblem (SFZ)
      • Jake hood graphic with Tech Bronze accent (SHT)
      • Jake C8.R rear hash graphic with Tech Bronze accent (VPO)

Interior

  • Addition of Artemis interior (HV2) with Green seat belts (255)
    • Only available on 3LZ
  • Addition of visible carbon fiber sill plates as a Genuine Corvette Accessory (LPO, V8X)
    • Optional on all 2024 Corvette Z06 models and trims
  • Infotainment system with Google built-in and eight-inch diagonal HD color display (IOK) replaces infotainment systems (IOS/IOT)

Mechanical

  • Addition of power hood pull down
    • Standard across all 2024 Corvette Z06 models and trims
  • Addition of LT6 engine cover in visible carbon fiber as Genuine Corvette Accessory (LPO, RXI)
    • Available only on Coupe body style, not available on Convertible
  • Engine lighting (D3V) now available as a standalone option on Coupe
    • Not available on Convertible

Safety

  • Addition of new standard safety features:
    • Following Distance Indicator (UE4)
    • Forward Collision Alert (UEU)
    • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning (UHX)
    • IntelliBeam auto high beam (TQ5)
    • Automatic Emergency Braking (UHY)
    • Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking (UKT)
  • Rear Camera Mirror (DRZ) is now standard across all trims
    • For the 2023 model year, Rear Camera Mirror was not available on 1LZ Coupe, but optional on 2LZ Coupe and 3LZ Coupe, while being standard on all Convertible trims

Packages

  • Deletion of 70th Anniversary Edition
    • The package was available on only on the 2023 Corvette Z06 3LZ
    • Features / content:
      • 20-inch front, 21-inch rear Spider design Satin Graphite forged aluminum wheels with Red stripe (SOQ)
      • Edge Red-painted calipers (J6N)
      • Rear fascia/roof storage protector in Black with embroidered crossed flags logo (LPO, VTB)
      • Ceramic White leather seating surfaces with Red stitching (HV1)
      • Torch Red seat belt color (3F9)
      • 70th anniversary exterior badging and logo on wheel caps, seats, steering wheel and sill plates, and unique VIN sequence
