2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray receives a variety of small changes for the fifth model year of the C8 Stingray.

These changes follow the 2020 Corvette Stingray, which was the model’s introductory year, along with small changes for the 2021 Corvette Stingray, 2022 Corvette Stingray and 2023 Corvette Stingray.

Model Line

  • No changes

As a reminder, the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is offered in coupe (with a manually-removable hardtop roof panel) and hardtop convertible body styles across the following trim levels:

  • 1LT
  • 2LT
  • 3LT

Coupe models carry product code 1YC07 and Convertible models are labeled 1YC67.

Exterior

  • Deletion of three exterior colors:
    • Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic (GS7)
    • White Pearl Metallic Tricoat (G1W)
    • Caffeine Metallic (G48)
  • Addition of three exterior colors:
    • Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV)
    • Cacti Green (GVR)
    • Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat (GXA)
      • Extra-cost color ($995)
  • Carbon Flash Metallic exterior color (GAR) now available for all models and trims
  • Deletion of three racing stripes:
    • 70th Anniversary Satin Black Metallic Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTK)
    • 70th Anniversary Satin Matrix Gray Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTF)
    • Midnight Gray Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DX0)
  • Addition of wider Full Length Dual Racing Stripes in the following colors:
    • Blue (DPB)
    • Yellow (DPC)
    • Orange (DPG)
    • Red (DPL)
    • Silver (DPT)
  • Wheels
    • Reminder: all C8 Stingray wheels – including those above – are sized as follows:
      • Front: 19 x 8.5 inches
      • Rear: 20 x 11 inches
    • Deletion of two wheel options:
      • 5-trident spoke machined-face Sterling Silver-painted aluminum wheels (Q8S)
      • 5-trident spoke machined-face Spectra Gray-painted aluminum wheels (Q8T)
    • Addition of three wheel options:
      • Satin Graphite with machined edge forged aluminum wheels (Q9O)
        • Only available on Stingray
      • 5-split-spoke machined-face Sterling Silver-painted forged aluminum wheels (Q9Y)
        • Only available on Stingray
      • 15-spoke bright polished aluminum wheels (5DO)
  • Addition of two new engine appearance packages:
    • Coupe Engine Appearance Package (B6P) with carbon fiber trim
    • Convertible Engine Appearance Package (ZZ3) with window under tonneau cover and engine cover
  • Addition of Genuine Corvette Accessories (LPOs):
    • Visible carbon fiber two-stanchion spoiler (5ZW)
    • Visible carbon fiber door intake trim (RYQ)
  • Replacement of RPO codes for two engine covers:
    • LT2 engine cover in Edge Red (BCP) is replaced by LT2 engine cover in Edge Red (RCC)
    • LT2 engine cover in Sterling Silver (BCS) is replaced by LT2 engine cover in Sterling Silver (RCD)
  • Engine lighting (D3V) now available separately on Coupe models
  • Addition of power hood pull down

Interior

  • Addition of Artemis interior (HV2) with Green seat belts (255)
    • Only available on 3LT trim
  • Addition of Visible carbon fiber sill plates (V8X) as Genuine Corvette Accessory (LPO)
  • Changes
    • Infotainment system with Google built-in and 8-inch diagonal HD color display (IOK) replaces infotainment systems (IOS/IOT)

Mechanical

  • No changes

Safety

  • Addition of new standard safety features:
    • Following Distance Indicator (UE4)
    • Forward Collision Alert (UEU)
    • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning (UHX)
    • IntelliBeam auto high beam (TQ5)
    • Automatic Emergency Braking (UHY)
    • Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking (UKT)
  • Availability
    • (DRZ) Rear Camera Mirror is now standard on all equipment groups
    • (UQT) Performance Data Recorder is now an available option on 1LT

Packages

  • Deletion of 70th Anniversary Edition
    • This was only available on the 2023 model year
