The 2027 Chevrolet Colorado will represent the fifth model year of the midsize pickup truck’s third generation, for which we expect to see a mid-cycle refresh.
These changes follow the 2023 Colorado, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign), launching the nameplate’s third generation, the 2024 Colorado, which saw minor changes headlined by the introduction of the Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition, a long list of minor changes for the 2025 Colorado, plus minor changes for the 2026 Colorado.

It’s unclear which trim levels will be on offer for the 2027 Chevrolet Colorado, though we expect the general trim structure to carry over from the 2025 and 2026 model years (possible product code in parentheses):

For the 2025 model year, is rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.

Production
The 2027 Colorado is assembled at the GM Wentzville factory in Missouri by GM USA. Production date TBD.
Platform
The 2027 Chevy Colorado will continue riding on the updated 31XX-2 platform, which it shares with its corporate cousin, the 2027 GMC Canyon.
Seating
The 2027 Chevrolet Colorado will continue being offered a single 2-3 seating configuration. This setup features two front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the second row (seating three).
Beyond 2027
We expect the current, third-generation Colorado to remain in production at least thru the 2030 model year.
