The 2026 Chevrolet Colorado represents the fourth model year of the midsize pickup truck’s third generation, for which we expect to see minor changes and updates.
These changes follow the 2023 Colorado, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign) to launch the nameplate’s third generation, the 2024 Colorado, which saw minor changes headlined by the introduction of the Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition, and a long list of minor changes for the 2025 Colorado.

We expect the 2026 Chevy Colorado to continue being offered as a midsize pickup truck in 2WD or 4WD across the following trim levels (product code in parentheses):

- Z71 (14G43) – 4WD only
- ZR2 (14H43) – 4WD only

We expect the 2026 Chevrolet Colorado to a few minor changes, including new exterior colors.

Production
The 2026 Colorado is assembled at the GM Wentzville factory in Missouri by GM USA. Production date TBD.
Platform
The 2027 Chevy Colorado will continue riding on the updated 31XX-2 platform, which it shares with its corporate cousin, the 2026 GMC Canyon.
Seating
The 2026 Chevrolet Colorado continues being offered a single 2-3 seating configuration. This setup features two front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the second row (seating three).
Beyond 2026
We expect the current, third-generation Colorado to remain in production at least thru the 2030 model year. A mid-cycle refresh is expected for the 2027 model year.
