The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado receives several changes, marking the third model year for the midsize pickup truck’s third generation.
These changes follow the 2023 Chevy Colorado, which saw the launch of the third-gen model, plus the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado, which saw minor changes headlined by the addition of the Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition.
Model Line
- LT trim level changes
- At first, Chevrolet deleted the LT trim level from the 2025 Colorado, replacing it indirectly by the LT Appearance and Convenience Package (see below) on the Work Truck (WT)
- About a month after, GM changed course and reversed this decision, introducing a new LT trim level in either 2WD or 4WD
This means that the 2025 Colorado continues to be offered in the Crew Cab, Short Box configuration and in 2WD or 4WD across the following trim levels (product code in parentheses):
- WT / Work Truck (14C43)
- Trail Boss (14E43)
- LT (product code TBD) – 2WD or 4WD
- Z71 (14G43)
- ZR2 (14H43)
Mechanical
- 2.7L Turbo engine (L2R) is deleted
- For the 2024 model year, this engine was standard on WT and LT trims
- For the 2025 model year, all trims now use the 2.7L L3B Turbo engine dubbed TurboMax, rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque
