The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado represents the third model year for the midsize pickup truck’s third generation, for which it gets a long list of minor changes and updates.
These changes will follow the 2023 Colorado, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign) for the nameplate’s third generation, as well as the 2024 Colorado, which saw minor changes headlined by the introduction of the Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition.

Production
The 2025 Colorado is assembled at the GM Wentzville factory in Missouri by GM USA. Production is slated to begin in December 2024.
Platform
The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado continues riding on the updated 31XX-2 platform, which it shares with its corporate cousin, the 2025 GMC Canyon.
Seating
The 2025 Colorado continues being offered a single 2-3 seating configuration. This setup features two front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the second row (seating three).
Beyond 2025
We expect the current, third-generation Colorado to remain in production at least thru the 2028 model year. A mid-cycle refresh is expected for the 2026 model year.
