The Chevrolet Colorado line of mid-size pickup trucks receive several updates and changes for the 2017 model year.
To note, Chevrolet sells two distinctly different trucks under the Colorado nameplate around the world:
- The first is the International-market Colorado. It’s based on a variant of the GMT 31XX platform sold in markets such as Asia (as the Chevrolet Colorado), Australia and New Zealand (under the Holden brand), South America (as the S10).
- The second is the Colorado sold in the United States and Canada. It’s based on a modified variant of the GMT 31XX platform and is sold exclusively in North American markets as the Chevrolet Colorado (with the GMC Canyon being a variant).
The North American-market 2017 Chevrolet Colorado receives a new 3.6L V-6 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, along with other minor changes and updates.
