The Chevy Colorado midsize pickup truck receives several updates, new features, and equipment changes for the 2016 model year.
Compared to the 2015 Colorado, the 2016 Colorado:
- Loses the Rally Yellow exterior color
- Acquires the rear-sliding window as standard equipment on Z71 and included in the (PCM) LT Convenience Package
- Gets two in-vehicle technology enhancements, including:
- New enhanced multicolor driver information center display
- Enhanced Chevrolet MyLink with phone integration technology and Apple CarPlay capability
- Begins offering the 2.8-liter Duramax LWN turbo-diesel engine, which includes:
- (K40) Exhaust brake
- (JL1) Integrated trailer brake controller
- (NQ6) 2-speed, electric transfer case
- Adds four new special-edition packages
