2022 Chevrolet Blazer Changes, Updates, New Features
The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer represents the fourth model year of the Camaro-inspired crossover and gets the following updates and changes:
Model Line
The Blazer sees a trim level reorganization, deleting the base-level L trim and second-tier 1LT trim from the lineup. As such, the 2022 Blazer model line is as follows:

- Addition of three wheel options

- Addition of black lug nuts (LPO-level item)

- B94 replaces SFZ

- Premier models see changes to front and rear lower fascia, wheel moldings, rocker, and wheels
Interior
- Deletion of floor rail system
- Deletion of cargo flex divider (LPO-level item)
- Deletion of premium carpeted floor mats (LPO-level item)
- Deletion of embroidered front row headrests (LPO-level item)
- Deletion of rear seat infotainment system without DVD player (LPO-level item)
- Deletion of rear seat infotainment system with DVD player (LPO-level item)
- Deletion of keyless entry keypad (LPO-level item)
- Addition of foldable cargo organizer (LPO-level item)
- The 6-speaker audio system is now standard on Premier models
- For the 2021 model year, Premier models came standard with a Bose eight-speaker audio system which is now only available on LT models equipped with the Sound & Technology Package or RS and Premier models equipped with the Enhanced Convenience Package
- Manual tilt and telescoping steering column is now standard on Premier models
- For the 2021 model year, Premier models featured a power tilt and telescoping system which is now only available on RS and Premier models equipped with the Enhanced Convenience Package
Mechanical
- Deletion of 2.5L LCV I4 engine
- The 2.0L LSY Turbo I4 engine is now standard on 2LT models
- The 3.6L LGX V6 is no longer available on 2LT models
- Trailering equipment (V92) is now available on FWD models and standard on AWD models
- For the 2021 model year, this equipment was only available on AWD models
- Deletion of FWD trailering equipment option (VR2), which included:
- Heavy-duty cooling system
- Hitch Guidance
- For 2LT models:
- Available on FWD models only
- Requires 3.6L LGX V6 engine
- For 3LT models:
- Also includes Hitch Guidance with Hitch View when Sound & Technology Package is ordered
- Available on FWD models only
- Requires 3.6L LGX V6 engine
- For RS (1RS) models:
- Also includes Hitch Guidance with Hitch View
- Available on FWD models only
- For Premier (0HD) models:
- Also includes Hitch Guidance with Hitch View

- Horizontal cargo net (LPO-level item)
- For use with floor rail system
- Deletion of Interior Luxury Package, which was an LPO-level item and included:
- Illuminated front door sill plates
- Premium carpeted floor mats for first and second rows
- For LT models:
- Not available with:
- Floor Liner Package
- Interior Protection Package
- Dark Galvanized/Light Galvanized interiors
- Replaces standard floor mats
- Not available with:
- For RS and Premier models:
