The 2018 Cadillac XTS lineup will likely consist of two body styles, six trim levels, two powertrain option, front-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive, and various optional packages.

- Premium Luxury V-Sport (1SK)
- Platinum V-Sport (1SL)
Powertrain
- Regular XTS: potential replacement of 3.6L V-6 LFX with new 3.6L V-6 LGX engine (gasoline) possibly mated to GM’s new 9-speed 9T50 automatic transmission or last-generation 6-speed automatic transmission
- XTS V-Sport: Twin-Turbo 3.6L V-6 LF3 mated either to last-generation 6-speed automatic transmission mated to GM’s new 9-speed 9T50 automatic transmission
Drive Wheels
- Two-wheel-drive (front-wheel-drive) as standard
- All-wheel-drive (AWD) optional
