2017 Cadillac XTS
We expect the Cadillac XTS family of full-size luxury sedans to receive several new features and equipment changes, including new colors, a new base engine, and a new set of transmissions for the 2017 model year.
Cadillac launched the current-, first-generation XTS for the 2013 model year, making 2017 the fourth model year of the Super Epsilon II-based model. As such, we expect the full-size luxury sedan to receive several changes and updates for the 2017 model year.
The XTS received Cadillac’s new corporate logo and various other new technologies for the 2016 model year. As such, we expect the 2017 Cadillac XTS to receive the following changes and updates:
- All-new 3.6L V6 LGX engine to replace the 3.6L V6 LFX as the base engine
- New 8- or 9-speed transmission range to replace the existing 6-speed transmissions
- Equipment-level changes and updates
- New colors
