The Cadillac XT5-V was a rumored performance variant of the Cadillac XT5 luxury crossover, but one that was not and will not make it to production.
No Plans For XT5-V
Despite occasional rumors, a Cadillac XT5-V is not planned to be brought to market, as GM Authority was first to report back in 2019.
Instead, the Cadillac XT5 will continue being offered with the following engines:
- North America:
- Naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque
- Turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine, rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque
- China
- Turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine mated with a 48V mild-hybrid system, rated at 250 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque
Rendering
In September 2023, GM Authority rendered an XT5-V, giving the crossover various features that are both functional and cosmetic in nature. Check out our XT5-V renderings.
