2025 Cadillac XT5 Updates, Changes, New Features

The 2025 Cadillac XT5 receives one small change for the ninth model year of the crossover SUV’s first generation.

These changes follow the 2017 XT5, which served as the launch of the XT5, followed by a mid-cycle refresh for the 2021 XT5 and minor changes to the 2022 XT5, 2023 XT5, and 2024 XT5.

Model Line

  • No changes

As a reminder, the XT5 is offered as a five-door crossover SUV across the following trim levels (product code in parenthesis):

  • Luxury FWD or AWD (6NF26)
  • Premium Luxury FWD or AWD (6NH26)
  • Sport AWD (6NJ26)

Mechanical

  • No changes

Exterior

  • No change

Interior

Deletion of several interior features that were previously available only with the Platinum Package (JSE), which was discontinued for the 2025 model year (see Packages section below):

  • Premium carpeted front and rear floor mats (BB4)
  • Night Vision (UV3)
  • Leather wrapped steering wheel (NP5)
    • This leaves the 2025 XT5 with a steering wheel wrapped in leatherette
  • Semi-Aniline leather seating (all rows)
    • This leaves the 2025 XT5 with a choice of Inteluxe seats (leatherette), leather seating surfaces with mini-perforated inserts, or leather seats with mini-perforated inserts.
  • Leather-wrapped Instrument Panel (IP), console and door trim
    • This leaves the 2025 XT5 with the standard-grade material in these areas
  • Deletion of sueded microfiber headliner
    • This leaves the 2025 XT5 with the standard headliner material
  • Deletion of illuminated front door sill plates
    • This leaves the 2025 model with no illuminated cargo sill plate option
  • Deletion of two interior colorways
    • Interior color Maple Sugar with with Jet Black accents, Semi-Aniline Leather Seats with Chevron Perforated inserts (HMS)
      • Included Open Pore Elm Cluster wood trim, sueded microfiber headliner and pillars
    • Interior color Jet Black with Semi-Aniline Leather Seats with Chevron Perforated inserts (HMR)
      • For the 2024 model year, this interior colorway was offered as part of the Platinum Package, which was discontinued for the 2025 model year (see Packages section below)
      • Note that the Jet Black colorway remains available for the 2025 model year, but without the Semi-Aniline Leather Seats with Chevron Perforated inserts

    • Availability:
      • For the 2024 model year, this package was available on Premium Luxury or Sport trim levels
      • Premium Luxury models require:

        • Technology Package (Y4N)
        • Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control (CJ4)
      • Sport models require:

        • 20-inch 12-spoke Diamond Cut alloy wheels with Dark Android Satin finish pockets (Q6N), or any LPO wheel option
