The 2024 Cadillac XT5 represents the eighth model year of the first-generation luxury crossover SUV, for which it receives a few minor changes.
These changes follow the 2017 Cadillac XT5, which was an all-new model to replace the Cadillac SRX, followed by a refresh for the 2020 XT5. The 2021 XT5, 2022 XT5, and 2023 XT5 all saw minor changes over the refreshed model.

Production
Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT5 kicked off at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee in June 2023. This facility supplies all global markets with the exception of China. Meanwhile, the SAIC-GM Jinqiao Cadillac plant in Shanghai, China produces the XT5 for the domestic Chinese market.
Platform
Like all first-generation units of the Cadillac XT5, the 2024 XT5 continues to ride on the GM C1 platform shared with various GM crossover SUVs.
Seating
The 2024 XT5 is offered in a single seating configuration that seats a maximum of five passengers in a 2-3 arrangement.
Standard on all trims, this setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a 60/40 split bench seat in the second row (seating three).

Beyond 2024
We expect the current, first-generation XT5 to remain in production without any major updates or changes through the 2025 model year, at which point the luxury crossover will be discontinued in North America. In China, however, the XT5 will receive an all-new second generation for the 2025 model year.
