2018 Cadillac SRX

Cadillac discontinued the SRX crossover after the 2016 model year, and has since replaced the midsize crossover with a similar vehicle called the XT5.

The change is the result of the following plans:

  1. The replacement of the second-generation SRX with an all-new model
  2. Cadillac’s strategy to change the nomenclature of its vehicles, wherein:
    • Sedans are named with the letters CT followed by a number, and
    • Crossovers and SUVs are named with the letters XT followed by a number

As such, there is no such vehicle as 2018 Cadillac SRX. In its place is the 2018 Cadillac XT5.
