In 2007, GM launched the Cadillac SLS in China. It was an extended-wheelbase variant of the Cadillac STS (Seville Luxury Sedan) and based on the GM Sigma platform. Manufactured by GM China, the SLS featured unique interior appointments when compared to its STS counterpart, yet was nearly identical in exterior appearance.
For 2010, the SLS received a mid-cycle refresh that featured a revised grille and bumper, along with other details. There were five trim levels available, consisting of 2.8 Elite, 2.8 Luxury, 3.6 Elite, 3.6 Luxury and 4.6 Flagship. Pricing ranged from 448,000RMB to 828,000RMB.
