Back in 2017, GM Authority reported on the possibility of General Motors creating a high-performance variant of the Cadillac Escalade. At that time, it was unclear whether such a model would be called Escalade-V or Escalade V-Sport. But in 2019, we learned that the vehicle will end up being called Escalade-V, since the V-Sport brand has been sunset.
