2019 Cadillac CT6 Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2019 Cadillac CT6 receives a mid-cycle refresh for the 2019 model year consisting of updates to the exterior, interior, technology and powertrain. A mid-cycle refresh can otherwise be referred to as a facelift or a mid-cycle enhancement (MCE) in GM parlance.

The 2019 CT6 refresh consists of the following changes, updates, and new features:

  • Exterior:
    • Deletion of four exterior colors:
      • Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic
      • Midnight Sky Metallic
      • Deep Amethyst Metallic
      • Stone Gray Metallic
    • Addition of two exterior colors:
      • Manhattan Noir Metallic (available at extra charge; no additional charge on Platinum)
      • Shadow Metallic (available at extra charge; no additional charge on Platinum)
    • New exterior design features:
      • Introduction of two new grille designs and finishes:
        • One for Luxury, Premium Luxury and Platinum models
        • One for Sport models, which includes:
          • Ground effects (rockers, front splitters and rear extensions)
          • Rear spoiler
          • Dark side glass window moldings
          • Body-color lower door moldings
          • 19″ sport-specific wheels
      • New hood, decklid, front and rear fascias
      • New Cadillac signature headlamps and taillamps
      • Dual exhaust added to models with 2.0L Turbo LSY engine
    • Wheels:
      • Deletion of two wheel choices:
        • 18″ aluminum wheels with Blade Silver painted finish (RT4)
        • 20″ Ultra Bright machined aluminum wheels with Manoogian Silver pockets (RQA)
      • Addition of three wheel choices:
        • 18″ Luxury standard wheel (PTW)
        • 20″ Active chassis optional wheel (RTJ)
        • 19″ Sport standard wheel (PXX)
  • Interior:
    • Addition of two interior color combinations:
      • Sahara Beige with Jet Black accents
      • Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents
    • Interior changes:
      • Infotainment system control changes:
        • Removal of touch pad for infotainment
        • Addition of console-mounted rotary infotainment controllers
      • Addition of Electronic Precision Shift
      • New Bose Panaray metal speaker grille pattern and finish
      • Addition of wood deco trim on Premium Luxury model
      • Inclusion of Carbon Fiber trim on Sport model
  • Features:
    • Introduction of hands-free decklid with Cadillac branded projection light
    • Introduction of next generation of Cadillac user experience with console-mounted rotary infotainment controller
    • HD Surround Vision and HD Rear Vision Camera changes from analog to digital
    • Introduction of second-generation Rear Camera Mirror, which introduces a new frameless design and adds zoom and tilt adjustments
    • Introduction of second-generation wireless charging that includes 5-watt wireless phone charging with larger charge area for better phone compatibility
    • Addition of Rear Pedestrian Alert
    • Addition of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE) across all powertrains
  • Packages:
  • Trim levels: change in trim level naming convention, as follows:
    • Luxury takes over for previous CT6/base model
    • Premium Luxury takes over for Luxury
    • Platinum remain the same
    • Addition of Sport as new trim level
