The 2026 Cadillac CT4 represents the seventh model year of the first generation subcompact luxury sedan, for which it receives minor changes. In fact, the 2026 CT4 will likely become the last model year of the CT4.
This follows the 2020 CT4, which was the CT4’s introductory year, followed by minor changes to the 2021 CT4, 2022 CT4, 2023 CT4, 2024 CT4, and 2025 CT4.

Production
Production of the 2026 Cadillac CT4 takes place at the Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant in Lansing, Michigan, USA for all markets except for China. Production of the 2026 CT4 will begin on June 2nd, 2025.
For the Chinese market, the CT4 is assembled at the Cadillac Jinqiao plant in Shanghai, China.
Platform
The 2026 Cadillac CT4 continues to ride on the Alpha 2Â platform, otherwise known as Alpha II.
Seating
The 2026 CT4 is offered in a single seating configuration that features two front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the rear (seating three), resulting a 2-3 setup.
Beyond 2026
We expect the 2026 or 2027 model years to be the last for the Cadillac CT4. As GM Authority was first to report in March 2025, GM is not planning any replacements with internal combustion engines.
