2019 Cadillac ATS-V
The Cadillac ATS-V receives a few minor changes and updates for the 2019 model year, which is the final model year for the first and only generation ATS-V. The nimble four-door will receive a proper replacement in the 2022 CT4-V Blackwing model.
To clarify, Cadillac is slotting the CT4-V between the entry-level CT4 and upcoming CT4-V Blackwing models as part of its Y-trim strategy. This means the CT4-V is a “performance-lite” variant of sorts, similar to the departed V-Sport range, while the CT4-V Blackwing delivers the power and precision that have come to be associated with the athletic, range-topping sedans.
As such, the 2020 CT4 steps in as the automaker’s smallest luxury sedan offering, slotting below the 2020 CT5, which replaces the Cadillac CTS.
