The 2020 Buick Regal Sportback receives the following minor updates and changes:
Model Line

- Deletion of Preferred II (1SC) trim, including:
- FWD Regal Preferred II 1SC (4ZX68) model
- AWD Regal Preferred II 1SC (4ZG68) model
- Deletion of Preferred II (1SC) trim, including:
 Exterior

- Deletion of Smoke Pearl Metallic exterior color
- Addition of Satin Steel Gray Metallic exterior color
- Addition of ST Appearance Package. Available only on the Essence (1SL) trim level, the package includes:
- Custom Black grille
- Rear sport spoiler
- ST badge
- 18-inch aluminum wheels with Gloss Black finish
- The package was cancelled before making its way to market in full force. Only a handful of units were shipped to dealers.
Interior

- Deletion of single-zone manual air conditioning
- Dual-zone automatic climate control is now also standard on base Regal (1SV) and Preferred (1SB) models
- Deletion of single-zone manual air conditioning
