The 2027 Buick Envision will represent the seventh model year of the second-generation Envision, for which it’s expected to receive several minor changes.
This change follows the 2021 Envision, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign), followed by a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 Envision.

Production
Production of the 2027 Buick Envision will likely begin during the second half of 2025 at the SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant.
Platform
Like all second-generation units of the Buick Envision, the 2027 Envision continues to be built on the GM E2 platform shared with the following vehicles:
- Buick Envision Plus (three-row Envision variant for China)
- First-generation Cadillac XT4
- Ninth-generation Chevrolet Malibu
- Sixth-gen Buick Regal, second-gen Opel Insignia, second-gen Vauxhall Insignia, fifth-gen Holden Commodore
Seating
The 2027 Buick Envision will continue to be offered exclusively in a five-passenger configuration, with a 2-3 seating configuration. This setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the second row (seating three).
Beyond 2027
It’s currently unclear whether the internal combustion-powered Envision will continue to be available after the 2027 model year. It is possible that the model will be replaced with an alternative energy vehicle.
