2024 Buick Enclave

The 2024 Buick Enclave marks the seventh model year of the second-generation Enclave, for which it receives a few minor changes after receiving a midcycle refresh for the 2022 model year. Notably, the 2024 model year is the last before the 2025 Enclave receives an overhaul (redesign and re-engineering).

Model Line

The 2024 Buick Enclave continues to be offered as a full-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV) with five doors (four doors plus a liftgate). It’s offered in three trim levels, with Essence serving as the base trim and Avenir as the range-topping trim.

Changes, Updates, New Features

The Buick Enclave does not receive any changes for the 2024 model year.

Powertrain

The 2024 Buick Enclave carries over the engine and transmission from the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 model years.

Production

The 2024 Enclave went into production on June 5th, 2023 at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. Production ended in December 2023 to make room for the all-new, next-generation Enclave for the 2025 model year.

Platform

Like all second-generation units of the Buick Enclave, the 2024 Enclave continues to be built on the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform (or “Chi”) shared with the 2018 and newer Chevy Traverse (second generation).

Meanwhile, the regular-wheelbase version of the C1 platform is used to underpin the following vehicles:

  • 2017 and newer Cadillac XT5 (first generation)
  • 2018 and newer GMC Acadia (second generation)
  • 2019 and newer Chevy Blazer (first generation)
  • 2020 and newer Cadillac XT6 (first generation)
  • Buick Enclave, China Domestic Market (first generation)
  • Chevrolet Blazer, China Domestic Market (first generation)

Seating

The 2024 Buick Enclave is offered exclusively in a seven-passenger configuration, with a 2-2-3 seating configuration, which includes:

  • Front row captain’s chairs
  • Second row 40/40 captains chairs with armrests, along with
    • Left seat: fore/aft adjustment
    • Right seat: pitch slide for third row access with fore/aft adjustment
  • Third row 60/40 split bench

The only seat trim material offered is perforated leather.

Beyond 2024

The 2024 model year is the last of the second-generation Enclave, as the an all-new, next-generation Enclave launches for the 2025 model year.
