Baojun is an automotive brand sold in China.
The brand was developed specifically for the Chinese market by General Motors and its Chinese partners SAIC and Wuling as part of the joint venture between SAIC Motor, General Motors, and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co Ltd. and aims to bring affordable transportation.
Baojun released its first model, the 630 sedan, in the summer of 2011.
Baojun translates to “prized horse” from Chinese.
