Don’t act surprised that Consumer Reports predicts such things.
Unlike the Volt, which is an extended range electric vehicle, the Cruze will be more like a Toyota Prius in nature, except with the ability to plug in.
Sometimes it’s alright to treat yourself.
Whatever kind of numbers we will see, expect the Cruze Diesel to be fitted with the 2.0L diesel engine currently under the hood of several Cruzen sold in Europe and Australia.
It seems the best days for the Cruze are coming, but are a lot farther away than most have hoped.
Holden’s Cruze lineup is missing one car: a performance version to compete head to head with the likes of the Volkswagen GTI in the Australian market. However, Holden isn’t planning on offering such a product anytime soon.
Whether you see it as a Holden or a Chevrolet, it doesn’t change the fact that it looks absolutely awesome.
So the question is — why isn’t this thing coming to North America?
