Total sales for the company during the month tallied at 215,358 units, with 1,261,633 total units sold year-to-date.
For 2011, Cadillac was the highest scoring General Motors brand at 9th place, with an average of 103 problems per 100 vehicles. GMC was 10th, with 104 problems per 100 vehicles.
The results of the latest J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study are in, and several General Motors vehicles managed to win out in their respective segments over their rivals.

In a slumping May full of high gas prices, supplier issues and consumer reluctance, General Motors saw a jump in overall retail sales of 9 percent, but observed an overall drop of 1.2 percent compared to May 2010 due to what GM says was a 21 percent drop in fleet sales.
