Large GM plants are set to turn in voting results today.

GM said it is “committed to employee safety and plant leadership is working closely with authorities to investigate and understand what happened.”
UAW Local 160 is located in Warren, Michigan.
UAW workers remain on strike while the ratification vote proceeds.
GM Korea had to be bailed out in 2018 after years of losses.
This would create 2,225 jobs at the facility.
“The agreement reflects our commitment to U.S. manufacturing through the creation of new jobs and increased investment.”
Workers will receive wage increases and an $11,000 ratification bonus, among other things.
Though Lordstown is allegedly left out of the deal.
The union says the agreement “represents major gains for UAW workers.”
The strike has allegedly cost GM around $2 billion.
And most orders will now start production in February, as of this writing.
But other key points remain unsettled.
The UAW has not responded to an offer GM sent it on Monday.
The strike has been going on for 24 days.
The ex-exec’s opinions on labor haven’t changed much.
The strike is becoming an issue for many – not just GM and its workers.
All of GM’s North American pickup plants are currently offline.
