Velite is already the name of two electrified Buick models in China.

These two platform mates look very different.

All-electric crossover caught in the rain.

The fully electric Velite 7 has an estimated driving range of 311 miles.

And it's very much different from both the Chevy Bolt EV and the Buick Velite 7.

The electric crossover will go on sale in China later this year.

This new subcompact crossover isn’t expected to be marketed in North America.
