Sam has always had a passion for anything that moves. As a kid, he would stare at the sky and spot airplanes, wander onto construction sites to look at diggers and trucks, and obsessively collect Hot Wheels.
Somewhere along the way, he developed a passion for writing, and an even greater one for cars. Sam’s keen liking for GM vehicles came after the company went bankrupt in 2009. Intrigued by the automaker’s fight back to the top, he began to closely follow GM’s progress as a new firm. Today, he is thrilled to be a part of the GM Authority staff, which integrates his love for journalism and passion for all things automotive. He hopes to one day own his favorite car from the bowtie brand, a Camaro ZL1.
