General Motors formally unveiled the all-electric 2026 Cadillac Vistiq last November, showing off an all-new three-row crossover festooned with high-tech features. Underlining the Vistiq’s tech-heavy vibes is an advanced tri-zone ambient lighting system, which offers customers a total of 126 different color options. Now, Cadillac is detailing how to use the Cadillac Vistiq ambient lighting system in a new two-minute video.
These Vistiq’s ambient lights are placed throughout the cabin, including in the footwells, the door panels, and around the sunroof, making for a highly customizable in-cabin lighting experience.
To adjust the various ambient lighting settings, users can open the Ambient Lighting app on the infotainment screen. From there, users are presented with five menu options, including Overview, Customize, Brightness, Styles, and Modes.
The Overview menu lets you turn the ambient lighting feature on or off, while also displaying the current lighting style and color settings.
The Customize menu allows you to set different colors for three different zones inside the cabin. Simply tap on the color dot for the zone you want to change, then swipe through the color wheel to pick your preferred shade. After making your selections, the new custom setting can then be saved to the onboard lighting styles.
The Brightness menu allows you to control three specific brightness settings, including the accent, flow, and halo effects. These can be adjusted using the plus and minus buttons, as well as the slider. There’s also an option to sync the brightness levels across all three settings at the same time.
Opening the Styles menu lets you scroll through a variety of preset lighting styles, or apply any of the saved custom styles. Finally, the Modes menu gives you additional options, such as linking the lighting to the selected drive mode or activating a Demo Mode, which shows off a gentle lighting sequence when the car is parked.
To note, these lighting controls are accessible via both the front infotainment screen, as well as the rear eight-inch command center.

Why not a 130 ?
Now tell me just how many people are going to base their vehicle purchase, on the ambient lighting package a manufacturers offer? How about forgetting about it and offer a full sized spare tire? That might actually get used.
Not offering spare tires in new cars has been a common practice in the industry across almost all brands (especially luxury). You’re just looking for something to be mad about.
I would like to pick up one of these used in 2027
