The fourth-generation Chevy Equinox compact crossover made its formal introduction for the 2025 model year, with the 2026 Chevy Equinox ushering in a selection of small updates and changes. As was the case for 2025, the 2026 Equinox offers a selection of interior color options. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the 2026 Chevy Equinox interior colors, including all of the available seat materials.
Availability for the various 2026 Chevy Equinox interior colors depends on the trim level selected, with the LT, Activ, and RS each offering its own distinct options. The LT trim is the most flexible, and is offered with either Black cloth (RPO code EKV), or Evotex upholstery in Black (RPO code H9F) or Artemis Gray (RPO code ENY). To unlock the Evotex seat material on the LT trim, buyers must select the $2,050 Convenience II Package (RPO code ZQ3), which bundles together several premium features, including an eight-way power driver seat adjuster, dual-zone automatic climate control, an AutoSense hands-free power programmable liftgate, and wireless phone charging, among others.
The Activ trim adopts a more upscale look with Maple Sugar seats finished in sueded microfiber (RPO code ELU), while the RS trim is distinguished by Black Evotex upholstery with red accents (RPO code H7D), giving it a more aggressive interior aesthetic.

Mechanically, the 2026 Equinox is once again motivated by the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which is rated at a maximum of 175 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque in front-wheel-drive models, and paired with a CVT. All-wheel-drive variants feature the GM eight-speed automatic transmission, which also include a torque bump to 203 pound-feet.
Production of the 2026 Chevy Equinox officially got underway on March 17th, 2025, at the GM San Luis Potosà plant in Mexico.
