About Chevy Trax
The 2025 Chevy Trax debuts the second model year for the nameplate’s second generation, ushering in a few critical updates and changes over the all-new, next-generation 2024 Chevy Trax. That includes two new paint colors and an E85-compatible engine, making it a flex fuel-capable vehicle. Here’s everything that’s new and different for the 2025 Trax.
Check out all the 2025 Trax wheels offered, along with exterior paint colors and interior colorways.
The Trax 2RS added a convenience feature starting in February 2025, namely a new eight-way power driver seat adjuster with two-way power lumbar support.
The Trax’s turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine develops 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 to 4,000 rpm. Notably, the 2025 Trax is not capable of towing a trailer.
Launch pricing for the 2025 Trax showed a slight price bump for some trim levels compared to the previous year, with the 1RS and LT being $200 more expensive and the 2RS and Activ being $400 pricier. Recently, the 2025 Trax received MSRP and destination freight charge increases along with a second DFC increase to $1,395, with the 1LS trim now $400 more expensive and 1RS, 1LT, 2RS, and Activ trims $500 higher. Yet, the Chevy Trax is still the third cheapest new vehicle in the U.S., with a starting price of $21,795.
