After a hectic 2025 Six Hours of the Glen on June 22nd, 2025, the No. 3 Corvette Racing team pulled off a podium finish, and just like that, the No. 3 Corvette Z06 GT3.R is sitting on top of the GTD Pro class points.
The No. 3 Vette was shared between Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims. Sims had control during the opening and ending stints, handing control to Garcia for the middle of the six-hour sprint. The race was marked by temperamental weather conditions and 10 full-course yellows, eight of which occurred during the first four hours.
The constant start-stop rhythm of the race made it difficult for teams to find any sort of momentum, but the No. 3 Corvette Racing team was undeterred. Sims had to battle through a downpour before swapping the controls to Garcia, who moved steadily forward in the middle section of the race. Garcia battled to P3 before handing the race car back to Sims with just over an hour left, who made a risky overtake for second within the final 30 minutes.
“That was a fantastic race… really exciting, really tough to do it completely trouble-free with such changing conditions at the start and then such warm conditions at the end,” Sims said. “The tires were, I’m sure, screaming for everybody. This is such a high-speed, flowing track that it’s really hard to save the tires when they’re getting hot in these conditions.”
Meanwhile, the No. 4 Corvette Racing duo of Nicky Catsburg and Tommy Milner pulled off their best finish of the season, finishing fifth in the GTD Pro division. A late-race decision by Catsburg kept enough fuel in the tank to gain three positions in the closing stage. Even so, it was bittersweet for the No. 4 Vette team.
“I think from a team point of view it was a good day with the No. 3 car in P2, but it would be nice to have a result with the No. 4 Corvette at some point,” Catsburg said.
Finally, the two Corvette Racing entries competing in GTD looked prime for a podium finish, but a late-race penalty ended the No. 13 Corvette Z06 GT3.R bid for the win, while the No. 36 Vette presented a suspension issue with just 10 minutes to go that snuffed out their hope of a P2 finish.

Cadillac & Corvette performed very well at the Glenn. I am proud of the drivers, teams, and products. While I would love to see a 1st for either team or both I am still thankful that I have owned several of these vehicles, i.e. one-s that the public can own and drive one the streets.
Alright! We are on a roll!
