How Much Is The Most Expensive 2025 GMC Canyon?

The 2025 GMC Canyon introduced several changes and updates as the current-gen pickup’s third model year, including the addition of the Nightfall Edition, the switch from a trim level to an option package for the Canyon AT4X, and three paint color swaps. Now, GM Authority is looking a how expensive GMC’s midsize pickup can get when fully loaded.

Surprisingly, the most expensive Canyon is an AT4X, not an AT4X AEV Edition. That’s primarily because there’s a handful of options available for the AT4X that you can’t get when you add the AEV Edition. When you add every option to both trucks, the non-AEV AT4X is actually a little pricier. Here’s how the math shakes out.

After the AT4X Package (RPO XEW) for $5,230, the next most expensive factory option package for the Canyon AT4 is the Off-Road Front Bumper Package (RPO X31) for $4,495. It adds an off-road front bumper with a Safari Bar and pod lights, a 30-inch grille-mounted light bar, a performance front skid plate, a wiring harness for off-road bumper lights, an accessory switch kit, and an accessory power distribution box.

Another costly option package is the Technology Plus Package (RPO PDG) for $3,050. It adds adaptive cruise control, rear pedestrian alert, HD Surround Vision, a head-up display, a sunroof, Bose 7-speaker audio, and acoustic windshield glass. The AT4 Premium Package (RPO PCU) for $1,395 further adds a memory driver seat, a power front passenger seat, ventilated front seats, a rear center armrest, a wireless charging pad, and a heated steering wheel.

Being the customizable off-roader that it is, there are some expensive dealer-installed LPO options for the Canyon. A few of the pricier ones include the Sports Bar Package (LPO PCK) for $3,050, a Utility Wall Package (LPO PDO) for $3,050, a snorkel (LPO 5XC) for $1,195, removable off-road assist steps (LPO RVP) for $1,075, and a Kicker in-bed audio system (LPO SAX) for $895. There’s also the Recovery Package (LPO PCN) for $3,295, which gives you a Comeup winch and a bundle of accessories that includes a 29.5-foot recovery strap, two bow shackles, a pair of gloves, and a recovery tarp.

Add it all up, and the final cost of the most expensive 2025 GMC Canyon comes to $79,323. That includes the destination charge and the discounted cost of the AT4X package.

That’s not cheap, but the idea of an off-roader like the Canyon AT4X is that it comes from the factory (plus dealer options) with a host of upgrades that an owner might normally spend big bucks on in the aftermarket. The GMC Canyon AT4X with every option gets more expensive than a loaded Ford Ranger Raptor, but it’s about on par with the pricing of the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro when you start adding options.

  8. Great truck, but very under powered. $80k for a turbo 4 that still only averages 17 mpg is ridiculous. Learn from RAM and add some HP to these trucks.
