Only a handful of changes arrive with the debut of the 2026Â GMC Terrain, which brings in the second model year of the crossover’s third generation. These include a new paint color and a new trailering package, but now, we’re putting the spotlight on the GMC Terrain interior colors.
Taking into account different upholstery materials a total of seven 2026 GMC Terrain interior colorways are on offer, which you can view in the following images:
Elevation
AT4
Denali
Notably, the base Elevation trim has the most GMC Terrain interior colors available, with four different options. The mid-range, ruggedly-themed AT4 gets a single interior color, while two colorways are offered on the range-topping Denali trim level.
Materials offered include Premium Cloth, Perforated Leather and CoreTec for the GMC Terrain interior. The latter is the GMC trademark for The General’s synthetic leatherette material, which is pleasantly soft to the touch but durable, spill-resistant, resistant to stains and easy to clean. The availability of various 2026 GMC Terrain interior colorways is summarized in this table:
Interior | Seat | Color Code | Elevation | AT4 | Denali |

Pricing for the 2026 GMC Terrain was previously uncovered by GM Authority, and starts at $31,295 base MSRP for the Elevation trim with front-wheel drive or $33,295 for the all-wheel drive variant. At the top of the range is a starting price of $42,495 for the Denali trim level, offered only in AWD configuration.
The official configurator for the 2026 Terrain is currently live and ready for trying out various builds of the vehicle. The Terrain draws motivation from a single powerplant option, specifically the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which is rated at 175 horsepower for all configurations. Torque is rated at 184 pound-feet for the FWD configuration and 203 pound-feet of torque for AWD units.
The Big Red compact crossover rides on the GM D2 platform under the sheet metal. Production of the model takes place exclusively at the GM San Luis Potosà plant in Mexico.
Comments
Finally. Some lighter colors on the interior. Hope that filters down to all makes and models.
The SLT trim had standard leather upholstery. Now, you have to get a Denali to have leather. The elevation has lost a number of features that were standard on the SLE and SLT. Of course, not having a hybrid option means there are so many better choices out there.
Cortec > leather, have you seen the quality of leather lately?
Basically black and grey. Today’s designers, colorists(is that a word?) are the three b’s. Blah, bland and boring.
