GMC Sierra Causes Multi-Car Pileup During Police Chase In Ohio: Video

A new viral video has hit the web showing a police chase between a GMC Sierra pickup truck and law enforcement, with one of the passengers in the bed of the Sierra tossing planks of wood at pursuing law enforcement before the pickup is involved in a multi-vehicle pileup.

The video appears as though it was captured by a police helicopter, while the incident occurred in Montgomery County, Ohio, on June 5th, 2025, per the video overlay.

A GMC Sierra runs from police.

The video opens to show a white GMC Sierra pickup truck speeding down a narrow, tree-lined rural road, with police in hot pursuit. As the pickup blows through a four-way stop, we see police vehicles stopped on the side of the road. Suddenly, the pickup runs something over.

“Good stick! Good stick!” we hear a police officer yell, indicating that the pickup has run over a stop stick, a device designed to deflate a vehicle’s tires.

The video then transitions to continue the chase on a highway, and we see that there’s actually a person in the bed of the pickup truck. The person is seen holding on next to a few planks of wood, while sparks fly from the deflated tire as the wheel rolls on the pavement. We then see the individual in the bed detach some of the wood planks, throwing them on the road behind the pickup truck.

“More boards, use caution,” police are head saying.

The driver then opts to move into the wrong lane, with one police SUV giving chase. As the pickup truck travels against the flow of traffic, the driver moves over to the shoulder, with police moving down the opposing lane as well.

Suddenly, we see another motorist slam into the pickup truck, resulting in a massive multi-vehicle collision.

The individual in the bed is thrown several feet forward onto the highway, after which several individuals exit the truck and start running to try and escape on foot.
