Cryptic Teaser Says A New Corvette Is Coming June 17th

Chevrolet just posted a cryptic new teaser to social media hinting at the forthcoming arrival of a new Corvette. While the teaser doesn’t provide much by way of details on what’s coming, it does point to June 17th, 2025, as a potential debut date. The teaser also includes a mysterious “X” logo.

The brief teaser video is only about eight seconds long, and was posted to several official GM social media accounts. The teaser includes a black background with the Corvette crossed flags logo in white, below which we see some scrolling numbers roll out “6.17.25.” The crossed flags logo is then swapped for a stylized “X” logo.

The soundtrack includes an internal combustion engine accelerating at (what seems to be) wide open throttle, and driving by the camera/microphone that captured it.

“The hype is real,” the teaser caption reads. “A new Corvette is coming.”

Fans responded with enthusiasm and anticipation.

“I already love what I’m about to see,” writes one user.

“Can I trade in my house for one?” writes another.

Obviously, Chevy is keeping its cards close to the chest on this one, but plenty of users are already speculating over what’s on the way.

Just last month, Chevrolet unveiled a host of updates for the C8 Corvette in conjunction with the 2026 model year. Among the highlights is a revised cabin featuring a trio of infotainment screens, including a 12.7-inch center display, 14-inch digital driver information center, and 6.6-inch touchscreen, all of which are laid out in a horizontal format to surround the driver with information. The interior also offers a new asymmetrical colorway matching Jet Black and Adrenaline red, as well as a few other new interior colorway options.

The exterior was updated as well, offering up new aero options, new paint options, and a new standard wheel set for the C8 Stingray. Performance enthusiasts will also enjoy a new PTM Pro drive mode, which effectively disables traction control and electronic stability control for those drivers interested in testing the limits on the race track.

We’ll have plenty more to say about the new Corvette set to debut next week, so stay tuned.

  • What if they are messing with our heads and release the GrandSport. There was some hidden messaging at the Corvette corral tent last month at Laguna Seca.

  • I think it’s the Zora, too bad they’re not calling it that, would’ve been a nice tribute!

    • Please no! How many negative polls have we had on this? But marry don't care! She probably personally over saw it if that's the case 😭😭😭

  • I agree with every post here , and then in a fit of euphoric silliness imagined the gazillion horsepower who's counting anymore. once you add mega torque brushless electric up front with 1064 minimum in back you have so much it might as well have wings. Be happy everyone I wish we could all drive one , at least for a day.

  • No thanks. Unless they offer 360 months at 0.0% and $2500 cash back we’ll stick with our ‘09 Rondo LX with reclining bucket seats and deluxe wheel covers. These things are more than our house. Maybe we’ll upgrade to a La Sabre soon. Winnevar, our next door neighbor who is 97 said she is going to sign the title over to the missies and I. We’ll have two cars. The misses wants to keep the Rondo. Loves that car. We took the six grandkids to the Dells in it.
