About Chevrolet Suburban
The refreshed 2025 Chevy Suburban arrives as the fifth model year of the 12th-generation extended-length full-size SUV. The updated model features a new exterior and interior design, a wealth of new tech features, a revised diesel engine option, and a large array of standard features across the various trim levels. The refreshed model’s lights finally go all-LED, modernizing the lighting technology used at the rear of the vehicle.
It also receives nine additional wheel combinations, including 24-inch wheel options. Here are the 2025 Suburban paint colors, interior colorways, and available wheels, though some of them are no longer available to order.
Notably, the 2025 Suburban is America’s only SUV with this family-friendly feature.
Updated tech features include new trailering assists and the vaunted GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance feature, with ordering of equipped units beginning on February 17th.
The new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine delivers more power and torque than the outgoing 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel and will be available in the Z71 trim level for 2025. The 2025 Suburban can tow up to 8,100 pounds.
Additionally, the refreshed Suburban gets updated engine availability on several trims and suspension improvements.
Pricing for the 2025 Suburban shows nearly all trim levels being several thousand dollars more expensive than their 2024-model-year equivalent. Here is pricing with options and packages. Our pricing comparison shows that 2025 Suburban engine upgrades cost more than before. The Suburban received both an MSRP increase and a destination freight charge increase in late February.
Last month, most Chevy models got a DFC increase, with Suburban up another $200 to $2,195.
Super Cruise and the diesel engine are now available to order, but the Connected Camera system feature has mysteriously vanished.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2025 Suburban.
Production of the 2026 Chevy Suburban is scheduled for September 8th.

Comments
The only way to sell a vehicle that with options can sticker north of $100,000, is to offer leases, now the bad news, these are ultra low-mileage 10,000/year leases and the offer expires in 11 days.
The Suburban is GM’s oldest badge. When introduced in the late 30s, it was geared towards the large rural family and spartan in nature. It stayed that way until the 80s when GM realized that it could bring north of 10K in profits. Now it’s loaded with so, so many unessential just to increase profit. A message to GM : improve reliability; especially engines and trans. Minimize the crap content that your bean counters insist upon.
