The 2025 Chevy Colorado sports a variety of important updates for the midsize pickup truck, debuting three new paint options while dropping the base turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R engine. Now, all 2025 Colorado units are exclusively equipped with the TurboMax turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, enabling it to tow up to 7,700 pounds. It has a payload capacity of up to 1,590 pounds.

Notably, 2025 Colorado ZR2 gets a new TurboMax hood badge as part of a rebranding effort seen across several GM models, receives more standard features, and goes leather only, ditching the cloth and Evotex seats.
