2026 GMC Terrain AT4 Featured In New ‘Break Out’ Ad: Video

GMC is looking to “break out” in a new video advertisement for the 2026 GMC Terrain AT4. The new ad is just 30 seconds long and highlights some of the crossover’s more notable features. General Motors launched an all-new third generation for the Terrain in conjunction with the 2025 model year.

The GMC Terrain AT4 in a new video advertisement.

The advertisement opens to show the latest third-gen Terrain AT4’s front end, followed by an image of the crossover in a glass box.

“Put us in a box,” we hear a narrator say.

We then see a young kid in a sand box, with a sand cube in the center. The kid then stands up and smashes the sand in one firm stamp.

“Go ahead,” the narrator continues, “that just gives us something to break out of.”

We then see the GMC Terrain shatter its glass box, followed by a few shots of the crossover attacking a grassy hill and driving through the woods.

The video then highlights the GMC Terrain AT4’s standard all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission, heated steering wheel, and 15-inch diagonal infotainment system, all while we see images of an athlete in running and surfing.

“An opportunity to shatter expectations and raise the standard of what comes standard in the next-generation GMC Terrain AT4,” the narrator states. “What we choose to challenge, we challenge completely.”

“We are professional grade,” the ad ends.

  1. Nothing says shattering expectations like a worst in class pipsqueak engine that has the worst horsepower & fuel efficiency in class while refusing to offer alternative powertrains while competitors do.
Thats losing with mediocrity under Mary Barra.

  2. gM is so behind its competitors in the powertrain department. The 1.5 is not only the least HP in its class but also the least efficient and the least towing capacity especially on the FWD versions with a laughable 800 Lbs. Now with Toyota and Honda going hybrid only, Nissan offering more powerful 3 cylinder turbos, Ford, Hyundai/Kia offering a full lineup of choices it’s really showing how behind they really are.

    1. Agree but I think going hybrid-only will prove to be a misstep.

  3. Clueless posters focusing on 1 thing, HP. You do realize in larger vehicles you want torque right? Guess where that is in its class? Near the top… But go ahead and concentrate on your single field of view to try and reinforce your failed view points. In anything that needs to haul people, stuff or tow, give me torque rather than hp….

A hybrid is coming, they have needed it and it is coming, hold your purses.
